ABOUT US

Who We Are & Why It Matters

Learn how we’re restoring dignity and stability—one home, one family, one community at a time.

We believe that safe, stable housing is a basic human dignity—not a luxury.

At the Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware, our mission is grounded in faith and lived out through action: offering essential repairs and simple housing solutions that keep families in their homes and communities thriving.

Every project starts with a relationship and ends with restored dignity.

As a proud covenant partner of The Fuller Center for Housing in Americus, Georgia, we share a commitment to a grass-roots, Christ-centered approach to ending poverty housing worldwide.

Rooted in a Global Movement

In this video with historical images, Fuller Center President David Snell discusses the history of the affordable housing movement, the early days of Millard and Linda Fuller’s work and how The Fuller Center for Housing remains committed to the simple, grass-roots, Christian principles with which it began as Millard Fuller’s final ministry.

The Fuller Center for Housing was launched in 2005 by Millard and Linda Fuller—also co-founders of Habitat for Humanity. Building on decades of experience, the Fullers created a Christ-centered movement rooted in dignity, partnership, and a “hand-up” approach to housing. Today, that legacy lives on through local covenant partners across the globe, including right here in Delaware

The Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware is proud to be a Covenant Partner of The Fuller Center for Housing, headquartered in Americus, Georgia.

As one of over 93 US and 20 international covenant partners, we share in a grassroots, Christ-centered mission to end poverty housing by working with—not for—families in need.

While we are united by faith and purpose, every partnership responds to its own community’s needs. That’s why the story unfolding here in Delaware is uniquely ours.

Meet the Team

The impact we create doesn’t happen by accident.

It’s built by people—volunteers, board members, and community leaders—who show up, roll up their sleeves, and lead with heart.

Every project we complete is powered by purpose-driven people who believe housing is more than shelter—it’s stability.

How We Work To Fulfill Our Mission

Quote from Millard Fuller about affordable housing as a human right

At the Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware, we believe housing that is affordable is more than shelter—it’s about stability, dignity, and opportunity.

Our grassroots, volunteer-driven model empowers individuals and families through partnership, as a hand-up, not a hand-out, not charity. Whether it's simple projects, safety repairs, or building tiny homes for veterans, we approach every project as our ministry.
