Veteran Housing & Support

Honoring service with stability. We help veterans live better through safe, affordable housing options and supportive community programs.

Working Veterans and "Vets for Vets" Program

At the Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware, we honor veterans through action.
From tiny homes to home safety repairs, we provide real solutions for those who have served.

Veterans face higher risks of housing instability, health concerns, and isolation.

Our programs focus on delivering practical support—through safe housing, connection, and community. Together, we build more than homes—we build futures.

Housing is not just seen in financial hardships, but may lead to homelessness.

For homeless veterans, they are three times more likely to commit suicide,

and 2/3 of those committing this heartbreak are not connected with the VA.

Our most recent veterans who served following 9/11 are at greater risk,

due to a slow growing economy, rising housing costs, and their lack of affiliation with the VA.

As a proud covenant partner of The Fuller Center for Housing in Americus, Georgia, we share a commitment to a grass-roots, Christ-centered approach to ending poverty housing worldwide.

Working Veterans Tiny Living

This initiative supports veterans in the workforce who need affordable, stable rental housing. Using tiny houses, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), and small-scale communities, we create options veterans can afford—near where they work and live.

We are currently in the proof of concept stage and seeking partnerships with military groups/organizations and land-owning institutions and individuals.

Vets for Vets

Veterans may apply for our Greater Blessings Repair Program and Encouragement Projects—especially seniors and disabled veterans.

We also encourage American Legions, VFWs, and other groups to refer veterans or submit projects on their behalf, or for these organizations.

Many veterans also give back by volunteering for fellow veterans’ projects.

Delaware Veteran Data

Many Delaware veterans—especially those working full time—still struggle to afford housing. This data helps guide our work and advocate for housing options for veterans near where they work, learn, play, and pray, at a price their salary allows them to afford..
