As a proud covenant partner of The Fuller Center for Housing in Americus, Georgia, we share a commitment to a grass-roots, Christ-centered approach to ending poverty housing worldwide.

In this 20-minute video with historical images, Fuller Center President David Snell discusses the history of the affordable housing movement, the early days of Millard and Linda Fuller’s work and how The Fuller Center for Housing remains committed to the simple, grass-roots, Christian principles with which it began as Millard Fuller’s final ministry.

About The Fuller Center for Housing

The Fuller Center for Housing was started in spring of 2005 by Millard Fuller and his wife Linda, who co-founded Habitat for Humanity in 1976. Millard and Linda Fuller co-founded Fuller Center for Housing in 2005 after starting and leading Habitat for Humanity for 29 years.

Millard was the recipient of numerous awards and more than 50 honorary degrees. Millard Fuller died unexpectedly on February 3, 2009, and was laid to rest at the southwest Georgia farming collective where he developed the concept of building houses for the poor. The organization continues the legacy.

Why Delaware? Our History

As a result of a FCH Bike Adventure, the largest fundraiser, this covenant partnership with the FCH was established in October 2021. Housing work takes place at the local level where funds are raised, volunteers are mobilized, families are selected , nurtured, and houses are remodeled, refurbished, rehabilitated, or revitalized.
